We know our nation and world are hurting, and we feel the heartbreak all around us. We acknowledge there are people who have been hurt for far too long, and it is time for a change. Options for Learning is about helping our community rise above their circumstances, bringing hope to future generations, and making our families and communities stronger.
There is no simple solution to the tension we’re witnessing today. Every single one of us will need to work for racial, social and economic justice. We must examine our hearts and thinking to eliminate any trace of racism, discrimination, or lack of respect. We must speak up, advocate and act.
At Options for Learning, our Core Values include “Respect, integrity, accountability” and “Serving a culturally and economically diverse community.” Now more than ever, we must embody and promote those values.
